Hug is the ex-chair of Environmental Elements Corporation (EEC), a leading supplier of air pollution control systems. Hug, Pioneer Shelly Kamins and Ellen Sauerbrey are leaders of Bush’s Maryland campaign. Hug helped Sauerbrey set a state fundraising record in ’98 by raising $6.4 million for her losing gubernatorial campaign. Hug also has served on a Maryland Chamber of Commerce committee that urged the state to legalize casino gambling.
