This ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback, now heads a real estate development firm. In building a 1,060-unit residential development project in Dallas, the company fumbled its ’99 attempt to receive $7.6 million in city subsidies. The company abandoned this quarterback sneak amid charges that it was poised to receive special treatment that non-celebrities had never received. The city had never before provided such subsidies for a residential project.
